Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Prepare it in the morning and enjoy in the evening - try this quick and easy slow cooker recipe!
  • Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • (1 cup) Flour
  • (1 tsp) Salt
  • (1/2 tsp) Pepper
  • (3 Tbsp) Vegetable Oil
  • (1 lb) Cube Steak
  • (1 large) White Onion, sliced
  • (3 cups) Water
  • (1 (3/4 oz) packet) Brown Gravy Mix
  • (1 (10 oz) can) Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • (1 (1 oz) packet) Onion Soup Mix

Directions

Try this easy slow cooker recipe for a quick and delicious dinner!

  1. Mix flour, salt, and pepper and set on a plate.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Coat cube steaks in flour/season mixture on both sides.
  4. Add steaks to hot oil and brown on each side, then place in slow cooker.
  5. Add sliced onion and 2 cups of water to the slow cooker.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  7. Mix together gravy, onion soup mix, and cream of mushroom soup with 1 cup of water. Add the mixture to the slow cooker and gently combine.
  8. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
