Chocolate Covered Bacon

I used chocolate chips for this recipe and melted it with some butter. I was expecting to be able to dip the bacon in the chocolate but it never got quite runny enough, and I had to use the back of a spoon to get it on my bacon. However they still tasted yummy! Feel free to top with whatever sounds good to you!

Ingredients
- (1 pack) Thick Cut Bacon
- (~15) Kebab skewers
- (~1 cup) Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- (1 Tbs) Butter
- Toppings, such as crushed walnuts, chopped dates, candied ginger, sea salt, etc.
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Skewer your bacon in a squiggly, weaving fashion
- Bake 20-25 minutes, until crispy
- Melt your chocolate chips and butter in the microwave, stir
- Brush or spoon onto the cooked bacon skewers. Dip in your favorite toppings
- Refrigerate until set. Store in the refrigerator
