Breakfast Sausage - Low FODMAP

Ingredients
- (1 pound) Ground Pork
- (1 tsp) Fennel Seeds
- (1 tsp) Dried Sage
- (1 tsp) Salt
- (1/4 tsp) Red Pepper Flakes
- (1/2 Tbsp) Olive Oil
- (1/2 Tbsp) Garlic Olive Oil

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the ground pork with the seasonings until just combined.
Shape into 8 patties. If cooking on the stove top, flatten slightly until they are approximately ½ inch thickness. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the olive oil and garlic olive oil. Cook patties until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.

Directions: Preheat flat top on medium-high setting. Oil the grill with avocado oil (or oil of choice). Shape into 8 loose balls. Place on flat top. Smash with a large flat spatula. Grill approximately 2 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
