Growing Native Seeds on Our Farm to Help Monarchs and More

Here at Riemer Family Farm, we're all about the birds and the bees...and the butterflies, too! While our rotational grazing efforts help create critical pollinator habitat, that's not the only thing happening on our farm for the benefit of the pollinators.

We also lease a portion of our farmland to a nearby native seed nursery. They raise native plants on our farm and harvest the seeds to be used in restoration projects across the midwest....helping make more habitat for monarchs and other pollinators beyond just our farm!

Take a look in the video below to learn more with Matt, the man in charge of it all!

It's the Details that Matter!

People often ask us what makes our meat different. It’s a fair question, especially when there are more labels, claims, and opinions than ever. For us, the answer isn’t about trends or talking points. It comes down to how the animals live, what they eat, and how they’re handled from start to finish.
